LIFESTYLE SESSION IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA BY A WASHINGTON, DC BRANDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Do you remember the fun lifestyle session I did with Brooke of Life Out of Camo last May? You know, the session with the floral duster, and embroidered dresses? Well, last July, Brooke and I worked together again and that time, we did our lifestyle session at Pentagon Row in Arlington, Virginia.

I really enjoyed doing the photo shoot at Pentagon Row because of all the fun things they have in there which you’re going to see as you scroll down in the pictures below. But my favorite was the foosball table! As soon as I saw it, I knew right then and there that we had to use it in one of our pictures. And that picture was actually one of my favorite pictures from this session.

Last July’s fashion shoot was all about summer outfits – floral maxi dress, the striped off the shoulder top paired with denim shorts, and the chic workout clothes – which Brooke all styled perfectly well. You can read what she thinks about each pieces here.

I love how we work so seamlessly and efficiently together. We never talk about the outfits before our lifestyle session. She would show me the outfits right then and there; and then would tell me the look she has envisioned for each of the outfits. In turn, I’d look around and find a good spot to take pictures at, tell her where to stand, and then she’d do her thing and I’ll start taking pictures of her.
