Last week, I shared how I failed on Christmas as a mom. But this week, I am focusing on the positivity. I want to celebrate my wins! Before the year ends, I always love to look back at all the things that had happened to me that year (even before I started this photography business). So since 2020 just started, I’d like to look back at all the sessions I did and all the events I had covered. I will be sharing all my favorite photos from each of the portrait sessions and events I did from 2019.
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning in August when I met these fun family at Locust Shade Park in Triangle, Virginia. Originally, our family session was scheduled on June 9th. But because of rain, we had to reschedule.
When I arrived to their residence on a sunny Sunday afternoon, M, the mom has met me to show me a couple of location options for our cake smash & family session. We walked towards a picnic area with a nice fountain on the background. She had told me about a session she and her husband had done before when they got married on the stairs near the picnic area. She mentioned that maybe it would be nice to do a family picture alongside their wedding picture to show their growing family. I agreed.
It was a sunny Saturday morning when I met this beautiful family at The Barn at One Loudoun. This location in Ashburn, Virginia is quickly becoming one of my favorite locations for photo shoots because it has a lot of things like the bridge, the fence, and the greenery that look really great on pictures. If you remember, last month I shared about a milestone session I did there.
They say love comes at the most unexpected times and in the most unexpected places. I am a strong believer of that because that’s how I found my husband. But there are some people who are very lucky to find the love that they are looking for while they are looking for it.
