Last week, I shared how I failed on Christmas as a mom. But this week, I am focusing on the positivity. I want to celebrate my wins! Before the year ends, I always love to look back at all the things that had happened to me that year (even before I started this photography business). So since 2020 just started, I’d like to look back at all the sessions I did and all the events I had covered. I will be sharing all my favorite photos from each of the portrait sessions and events I did from 2019.
Have you ever heard the saying “It takes a village to raise a child.”? It sounds like a cliché, I know, but it really is true! As a mom of 2 kids, I’ve experience it firsthand; and I was reminded of that again when I covered this adorable ice cream parlor themed first birthday for K. There were at least 8 people in the party room trying to put everything together, and making sure everything looked perfect for K’s birthday party. From making ice cream shaped sandwiches to filling the balloons with air, K’s families on both sides of her parents did an amazing job setting everything up!
Inside the banquet room at 8 Chains North, everyone was busy catching up with each other. Some were sitting at the table chatting, others were standing while talking to each other and giggling with a wine glass on their hands. And suddenly, the door opened.
