Last week, I shared how I failed on Christmas as a mom. But this week, I am focusing on the positivity. I want to celebrate my wins! Before the year ends, I always love to look back at all the things that had happened to me that year (even before I started this photography business). So since 2020 just started, I’d like to look back at all the sessions I did and all the events I had covered. I will be sharing all my favorite photos from each of the portrait sessions and events I did from 2019.
How adorable is this tea party themed session done at Cabel’s Mill part of Ellanor C. Lawrence Park in Chantilly? Everything from the little details to R’s outfits were just so sweet!!!
Christmas is surely my favorite holiday. Growing up in the Philippines, where our Christmas decorations are up & Christmas songs are played as soon as the first day of September hits, I always look forward to this special time of year. The family traditions, the chilly weather, the festive decorations & music, shopping gifts for your loved ones, the fun holiday activities… there’s something about Christmas that just makes me so much happier! So I knew I had to do a Christmas mini session as early as April this year.
My session with this beautiful family at Bon Air Park 2 weekends ago was nothing short of amazing! This charming park in Arlington, Virginia, although small, has a lot of picturesque spots. And I love the pops of color the beautiful blooms, in the rose garden, added to our family session.
Gratefulness is one of the values that is very important to me. Even in my family, I try to instill gratefulness in my kids in every way I can. So of course, when I decided to start this photography business, gratefulness is one of its core values. In fact, the main reason why I started this business is to help my clients realize how blessed they are with the family they have or with the goals they’ve achieved by looking at the special moments through the pictures that I was to able capture for them.
